MINAT DALAM KEWIRAUSAHAAN: STUDI EKSPLORASI TERHADAP MAHASISWA ILMU PENDIDIKAN

Abstract


Kewirausahaan sering dianggap sebagai matakuliah yang hanya cocok untuk mahasiswa ekonomi dan bisnis, tetapi tidak untuk mahasiswa pendidikan. Ada kekhawatiran yang berkembang dalam masyarakat bahwa mahasiswa pendidikan tidak mempunyai prospek pekerjaan lulusan yang menjanjikan. Disisi lain, mahasiswa ini dianggap memilliki perspektif bisnis yang sempit dan bukan pencipta lapangan kerja. Hal ini menunjukkan perlunya universitas untuk memperkenalkan matakuliah kewirausahaan pada mahasiswa pendidikan. Penelitian ini akan fokus pada pengukuran minat mahasiswa untuk berwirasusaha dengan penekanan khusus pada bagaimana pendidikan kewirausahaan ini dapat dipromosikan untuk mahasiswa pendidikan. Penelitian ini juga berusaha mengidentifikasi sejumlah program yang dibutuhkan oleh mahasiswa dalam program kewirausahaan. Mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Malang dipilih sebagai partisipan dalam penelitian survei internet ini. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dengan jumlah pernyataan sebanyak 20 item menggunakan skala Likert 5-point.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa pendidikan memiliki minat yang tinggi untuk belajar dan mempersiapkan diri untuk berwirausaha. Implikasi dari hasil tersebut mengarah pada sejumlah pedoman pendidikan kewirausahaan yang dapat digunakan oleh pendidik ketika merancang program untuk memenuhi kebutuhan mahasiswa seperti pembelajaran manajemen keuangan dan digital marketing, serta pendampingan oleh mentor yang berpengalaman.
