Keefektifan Konseling Kelompok Realitas untuk Meningkatkan Academic Hardiness Mahasiswa

Abstract


Abstrak - Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji keefektifan konseling kelompok realitas untuk meningkatkan academic hardiness mahasiswa. Penelitian eksperimen ini menggunakan rancangan pretest-posttest control group design. Kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol masing-masing berjumlah 4 orang yang diperoleh melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan: 1) prosedur konseling kelompok realitas yang memiliki validitas inter-rater agreement model sebesar 0,880, dan 2) skala yang memiliki validitas aitem 0,296 – 0,610, dan reliabilitas sebesar 0,914. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji statistik non-parametrik Mann-Whitney U Test. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik diketahui bahwa nilai z hitung = -2,309 dengan nilai p = 0,021 < 0,05 menyatakan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal ini berarti konseling kelompok realitas efektif untuk meningkatkan academic hardiness mahasiswa. Kelompok eksperimen memiliki rerata skor lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol.
