PENGELOLAAN HUBUNGAN SEKOLAH DAN MASYARAKAT HOME-SCHOOLING

Abstract


Abstract: The purpose of this research is to describe the planing of school public relation
program, implementation of school public relation program, evaluation of school public
relations program and the involvement of parents in implementing program of school
public relation at Sekolah Dolan home-schooling Villa Bukit Tidar Malang. This research is
descriptive research that used qualitative method. Based on the research, could be summarized
that Public relations management in Sekolah Dolan (homes-chooling) Villa Bukit Tidar
Malang are (1) Public Relation Planing Program worked by setting up the routine worksheet
and incidental worksheet. (2) Implementation of Public relation program worked by doing
partnership with mass media, institution of education, bookfair event, PWEC and some
communities in Malang, invite the citizen to participate, doing kindergarten development,
doing promotion in electronics media, social media and the parents. (3) Evaluation of Public
Relation Program could be work after Public Relation Program’s done. It’s involve school
manager and (4) involvement of parents in implementing program of school public relation
is parents involved in organizing activities of the camp and outbond, doing sharing between
each other parents, parents as manager.

Abstrak: Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan program
hubungan sekolah dan masyarakat, pelaksanaan program hubungan sekolah dan masyarakat,
evaluasi program hubungan sekolah dan masyarakat, dan keterlibatan orangtua siswa dalam
penyelenggaraan hubungan sekolah dan masyarakat di Sekolah Dolan (home-schooling)
Villa Bukit Tidar Malang. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan
pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pengelolaan hubungan sekolah
dan masyarakat di Sekolah Dolan (home-schooling) Villa Bukit Tidar Malang yaitu: (1)
perencanaan program hubungan sekolah dan masyarakat dilakukan dengan menyusun
program kerja rutin dan program kerja insidentil, (2) pelaksanaan program hubungan sekolah
dan masyarakat dilakukan dengan melakukan kerjasama dengan media elektronik, media
cetak, instansi pendidikan, acara bookfair, PWEC,dan Komunitas-Komunitas di Kota Malang,
mengikutsertakan warga sekitar sekolah, melaksanaan pembinaan TK, melaksanakan promosi
di media elektronik, media sosial serta orangtua, (3) evaluasi program hubungan sekolah dan
masyarakat dilakukan setelah kegiatan program hubungan sekolah dan masyarakat selesai
pada kegiatan ini melibatkan pengelola dan bendahara sekolah, dan (4) orangtua terlibat
dalam kegiatan camp dan outbond, saling melakukan sharing antar orangtua , dan orangtua
berperan sebagai manager.
