MANAJEMEN PELATIHAN VOKASIONAL BAGI PENYANDANG DISABILITAS DAKSA
Abstract
Abstrak: This research study was aimed at describing the implementation of the management
of the educational and vocational training in order to improve the human resource quality of
physically handicapped, discovering the supporting factors, and revealing any solution to
the emerging obstacles. This research used the qualitative approach and description method
to yield the information about the management of vocational trainings of the physically
handicapped. The data were selected using the purposive tecknique covering by the Division
Heads, Section Heads, instructors, and the training participants. The data were collected
through indepth interviews, observation, and document, conducted by the triangulation
mechanism of the answers to the research subjects. The result of the research shows that
training’s result not yet able to push the physically handicapped peoples up to have more
capability. They are not yet own enough job skill which can be used to look for a job as a
property to face the life going, although socially they have been able to do the relationship
with the society in a proper ways.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan manajemen pelatihan
vokasional dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia penyandang disabilitas
daksa serta untuk menemukan faktor kekuatan menemukan solusi terhadap tantangan yang
muncul. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskripsi untuk
menghasilkan informasi tentang manajemen pelatihan vokasional penyandang disabilitas
daksa. Pemilihan informasi data dilakukan dengan teknik porpusive meliputi para kepala
bidang, para kepala seksi, instruktur/pembimbing, dan peserta pelatihan. Dalam pengumpulan
data, digunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan telaah dokumen. Ketiganya dilakukan
dengan mekanisme trianggulasi atas jawaban-jawaban subyek penelitian. Hasil penelitian
menunjukan bahwa hasil pelatihan belum mampu mendorong penyandang disabilitas daksa
ke arah yang lebih berdaya. Mereka belum cukup memiliki keterampilan kerja yang dapat
digunakan untuk mencari pekerjaan sebagai modal menghadapi kehidupannya, meskipun
secara sosial sudah mampu melakukan relasi dengan masyarakat secara wajar.
