PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN OPERASI HITUNG CAMPURAN SISWA TUNARUNGU KELAS IV MELALUI PERMAINAN ULAR TANGGA

Abstract


The mix arithmetic operation, especially inaddition and subtraction the numbers 1-20, is one of the difficulties in mathematics learning process for children with hearing impairment.Snakes and ladders game as learning media can develop numeracy skills and increase student motivation. So that the necessary research about the snakes and ladders game for increasing the ability of mix arithmetic operation. The research design used in this study was Single Subject Research (SSR) with A-B-A design models. Data collection techniques were written tests and observation. The subject was 15 year old student with hearing impairment in class IV. Descriptive statistical test result showed that there was the influence of snakes and ladders game toward the ability of mix arithmetic operationof student with in class IV.

 

Anak tunarungu yang mengalami kesulitan pada proses pembelajaran matematika salah satunya adalah operasi hitung campuran penjumlahan dan pengurangan angka 1-20. Permainan Ular tangga sebagai media pembelajaran dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berhitung dan meningkatkan motivasi siswa. Sehingga diperlukan penelitian tentang permainan ular tangga untuk meningkatkan kemampuan operasi hitung campuran. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian eksperimen Single Subject Reseach(SSR) dengan desain A-B-A. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa observasi dan tes tulis. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa tunarungu berusia 15 tahun kelas IV. Hasil uji statistik deskriptif menunjukkan ada pengaruh dari permainan ular tangga untuk meningkatkan kemampuan operasi hitung campuran pada siswa tunarungu kelas IV.
