GERILYA DI LADANG MINYAK SEBAGAI PERLAWANAN RAKYAT AHVAZ TERHADAP DISKRIMINASI SOSIAL PEMERINTAH IRAN DI PROVINSI KHUZESTAN (1925-2017)
Abstract
Selama integrasi nasional, pemerintah mendiskriminasi orang-orang Ahvaz yang berbudaya Arab dengan mengasimilasi budaya Persia (Persianisasi) ke dalam sistem sosial masyarakat Iran. Namun, karena akumulasi historis yang dilakukan pemerintah Iran kepada orang-orang Ahvaz, mereka mulai menahan gerilyawan di ladang minyak sebagai perlawanan terhadap ketidakadilan. Perlawanan orang-orang Ahvaz membuat pemerintah Iran lebih represif terhadap pemberontakan, karena di Khuzestan memiliki cadangan minyak besar dan pintu perdagangan ke Teluk Persia dan Irak membahayakan geopolitik Iran di Teluk Persia.
During national integration, the government discriminated against the Ahvaz people who were Arabically cultured by assimilating the Persian culture (Persianization) into the social system of Iranian society. However, due to the historical accumulation which the Iranian government did to the people of Ahvaz, they began to hold guerrillas in the oil field as a resistance to injustice. The Ahvaz people's resistance made the Iranian government more repressive against the insurgency, because in Khuzestan had huge oil reserves and trade doors to the Persian Gulf and Iraq endangered Iranian geopolitics in the Persian Gulf.
