ANALISIS HUBUNGAN KEBIASAAN MEMBACA DENGAN PRESTASI AKADEMIK SISWA SMP NEGERI 1 JATINANGOR
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the relationship between reading habits of 500-word and 1000-word texts and the academic achievement of students at SMP Negeri 1 Jatinangor. An experimental method was employed using convenience sampling involving 59 students. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test with SPSS version 27. The findings indicate that the good reading method significantly improves reading comprehension, while text length does not have a substantial effect.
