Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the implementation of digital-based curriculum management and the factors influencing its effectiveness in a senior high school and a vocational high school in Bulukumba Regency. A qualitative multi-case study design was employed to gain an in-depth understanding of digital curriculum management practices in two different educational contexts. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s (2014) interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing in a cyclical process. The findings reveal that digital-based curriculum management in both schools has been implemented through four key stages: planning, implementation, evaluation, and supervision. School A demonstrates a more comprehensive and integrated digitalization process, while School B applies it primarily within specific vocational programs. The success of digital curriculum management is influenced by four main factors: transformational school leadership, teachers’ digital literacy and competence, the availability of technological infrastructure, and supportive school policies and culture. The study concludes that effective digital curriculum management depends not only on technological aspects but also on the synergy among leadership, human resources, institutional policies, and an adaptive school culture responsive to educational change.
