Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the influence of innovative work behavior, interpersonal communication, and organizational culture on the performance of public junior high school teachers. The study employed a quantitative approach with a survey design. The population consisted of all teachers at the selected school, with a sample of 93 respondents determined using proportional sampling. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. The findings indicate that innovative work behavior was at a moderate level, while interpersonal communication, organizational culture, and teacher performance were in the good category. The regression analysis results show that innovative work behavior, interpersonal communication, and organizational culture each have a significant effect on teacher performance. Among these variables, organizational culture was found to have the most dominant influence, followed by innovative work behavior and interpersonal communication. Furthermore, the simultaneous test results reveal that the three independent variables jointly have a significant effect on teacher performance, explaining 68.6 percent of the variance. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening innovative behavior, effective interpersonal communication, and a supportive organizational culture in improving teacher performance. This study is expected to provide empirical evidence to support school management and policy-making efforts aimed at enhancing teacher performance in a sustainable manner.
