KEWIRAUSAHAAN SOVENIR BERBASIS POTENSI LOKAL BAGI PENGEMBANGAN EKOWISATA MANGROVE DI CENGKRONG TRENGGALEK

Abstract


Abstrak:Mangrove merupakan ekosistem yang umumnya berada di sepanjang garis pantai. Salah satu Kawasan mangrove terdapat di kawasan Pantai Cengkrong, Kabupaten Trenggalek. Tanaman mangrove di Cengkrong cukup bervariasi serta dijadikan sebagai kawasan ekowisata. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui program workshop pengembangan kewirausahaan gantungan kunci dan keripik mangrove berbasis potensi lokal ekosistem mangrove Cengkrong Trenggalek. Metode kegiatan workshop diimplementasikan dalam 3 tahapan, yaitu (1) sosialisasi, (2) peningkatan kompetensi, dan (3) produksi gantungan kunci dan keripik mangrove. Analisis data secara kualitatif. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu masyarakat lebih paham dan terampil dalam pembuatan gantungan kunci dan kerupuk mangrove berbasis potensi lokal. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara, masyarakat sangat berharap bisa dikembangkan berbagai produk olahan yang lainya juga, terutama yang cocok untuk dibeli oleh para wisatawan. Mereka berharap dengan workshop ini bisa meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat dalam pengolahan potensi lokal, meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, serta dapat mengharumkan ekowisata Cengkrong di tingkat provinsi, bahkan nasional.

Abstract:Mangroves are ecosystems that generally lie along the coastline. One of the mangrove areas is in the Cengkrong Beach area, Trenggalek Regency. Mangrove plants in Cengkrong are quite varied and serve as an ecotourism area. The aim of this community service is to empower the community through a workshop program to develop entrepreneurship on key chains and mangrove chips based on the local potential of the Cengkrong Trenggalek mangrove ecosystem. The workshop activity method is implemented in 3 stages, namely (1) socialization, (2) competency enhancement, and (3) key chain and mangrove chip production. Qualitative data analysis. The result of this community service is that people are more understanding and skilled in making key chains and mangrove crackers based on local potential. Based on the results of the interview, the public really hopes that other processed products can also be developed, especially those suitable for tourists to buy. They hope that this workshop can improve people's skills in processing local potentials, improve the welfare of the community, and can bring Cengkrong ecotourism to the provincial, even national level.
