Keefektifan “Proses Guru” Sebagai Teknik Bimbingan Kelompok untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pengambilan Keputusan Karier Siswa SMK

Abstract


Kemampuan pengambilan keputusan karier merupakan bagian dari kontinum perkembangan karier siswa yang penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan proses GURU (Ground, Understanding, Revise, Use) sebagai teknik bimbingan kelompok untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pengambilan keputusan karier siswa SMK. Metode eksperimen Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design digunakan dalam penelitian ini dan subjeknya sebanyak 12 siswa SMKN 1 Trenggalek. Analisis data dengan menggunakan Two Independent Sample Test Mann Whitney U, diperoleh nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,03 < taraf nyata (   /2=0,05) serta disimpulkan bahwa “Proses GURU” sebagai teknik bimbingan kelompok efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pengambilan keputusan karier siswa SMK. Dari hasil tersebut maka peneliti menyarankan agar Konselor/Guru BK dapat mengkolaborasikan proses GURU dengan berbagai pendekatan lain, menggunakannya untuk mengembangkan berbagai potensi siswa dengan memperhatikan tahap perkembanganya, aspek psikologis dan konten intervensinya. Peneliti selanjutnya disarankan agar meneliti proses GURU dengan desain penelitian lain seperti Single-Subject Designs atau penelitian tindakan dan memerhatikan penggunaan maupun kelayakan instrumen serta validitasnya, disamping juga mengaplikasikan untuk pengembangan berbagai aspek psikologis lainya seperti motivasi, harga diri, efikasi diri, kemampuan berfikir kritis, kemampuan berfikir respek dan lain sebagainya.
