Kreasi Seni Patung Bertema Figur Wayang “Punokawan” Sebagai Penguat Karakter Pada Desa Wisata Selorejo, Dau Malang
Abstract
Penciptaan karya ikon-ikon visual berupa seni patung yang unik dan khas yang diletakan pada lokasi-lokasi wisata selain memiliki fungsi daya tarik juga sebagai sarana pendidikan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan menciptakan seni patung selamat datang di ruang publik bertema figur wayang Punokawan untuk menambah daya tarik kawasan wisata Selorejo Kecamatan Dau Malang, sekaligus berfungsi sebagai media pendidikan karakter bagi masyarakat dan pengunjug. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi koordinasi tim pelaksana bersama mitra sasaran dalam memecahkan permasalahan, persiapan alat dan bahan, perancangan bentuk patung berupa gambar desain patung yang dilengkapi dengan petunjuk teknis pembuatannya, proses pembentukan rancangan bentuk karya seni patung, perakitan karya dan finishing karya di lokasi serta evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan kreatif tersebut berupa gambar desain rancangan dan hasil karya seni patungbertema figur wayang punokawan berjumlah empat buah tokoh punokawan yaitu Semar, Bagong, Gareng, dan Petruk yang terpajang di kawasan objek desa wisata. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pengunjung lebih tertarik dengan kawasan wisatanya dan lebih mengenal budaya lokal yang hampir punah.

Abstract
The creation of works of visual icons in the form of unique and distinctive sculptures placed at tourist locations, apart from having an attraction function also as a means of education. This service activity aims to create welcome sculpture in public spaces with the theme of Punokawan puppet figures to add to the attractiveness of the tourist area of Selorejo, Dau Malang District, as well as to function as a medium for character education for the community and visitors. The implementation method includes the coordination of the implementation team with target partners in solving problems, preparing tools and materials, designing a sculpture in the form of a statue design drawing equipped with technical instructions for its manufacture, the process of forming the design of the form of sculpture, assembling the work and finishing the work on site and evaluation The results of these creative activities are in the form of design drawings and sculptures with the theme of punokawan puppet figures totaling four punokawan figures, namely Semar, Bagong, Gareng, and Petruk which are displayed in the tourist village area. The evaluation results show that visitors are more interested in the tourist area and more familiar with the local culture which is almost extinct.
