Pengenalan Konsep Blue Economy Untuk Peningkatan Kemandirian Pangan dan Ketahanan Maritim Kawasan Pantai Watulimo

Abstract
Indonesia is a maritime country, but Indonesia still shows that the sustainability of industry and fisheries is still low. This is due to the lack of application of the blue economy concept in coastal communities. In the Watulimo coastal area, Trenggalek Regency has a lot of potential on its beaches. However, this potential has not been optimally utilized by the local community. When reviewed from the situation analysis, it shows that the beach in the Watulimo area is currently the percentage of tourists starting to decline because it is less competitive with new beaches. In addition, because the beach in Watulimo is focused on fisheries, so that a lot of waste and marine biota are disturbed. Therefore, the solution to this problem can be in the form of providing education to the community regarding the application of the blue economy concept so that it can have a good impact on the local community and the environment. Then provide assistance and education to local coastal communities regarding food independence through the potential they have and maritime defense.
