KORELASI ANTARA METAKOGNITIF DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATERI EKOSISTEM (Studi Korelasional di Kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Kota Tasikmalaya Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021)
Abstract
Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between metacognitive and student learning outcomes on ecosystem material in class X Science at SMA Negeri 6 Tasikmalaya City. This research was conducted in April 2021. The research method used was correlational with the population, namely all students of class X Science 1 to X Science 7. The sample was taken using purposive sampling technique, namely class X Science 1 and X Science 7. The instrument used was used in this study is a validated instrument in the form of a Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI) questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is the normality test, to test the analysis prerequisites, and the bivariate correlation test to test the hypothesis. Based on the results of the research analysis, it can be concluded that there is a correlation between metacognitive and learning outcomes with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.621 which is included in the strong category, then the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.385 or 38.5%. So it can be said that there is a correlation between metacognitive and student learning outcomes.
