PEMANFAATAN PENGONTROL THROTTLE VALVE UNTUK MENURUNKAN ALIRAN KONSUMSI BAHAN BAKAR PADA MESIN PENCACAH PAKAN

Abstract


Many breeders choose to use a chopping machine with a combustion motor drive. Meanwhile, none of the feed chopping machines with combustion motors use smart engines or combustion motors whose rotation can change automatically according to the user's needs. So, feed chopping machines rotated at high speed continuously when loaded or unloaded. In this research the author created a throttle valve control system and applied it to a chopping machine with a combustion motor. It was hoped that the application of this control system changed the rotation of the chopping machine motor according to rotation requirements. In other words, the engine was expected to be able to rotate at low revs when not loaded and able to increase revs when loaded so as to reduce fuel consumption. Designing the Throttle valve controller and applied it to the chopping machine changed revs depend on load. Motor revs increased when loaded and decreased when unloaded. The research show that with the application of a throttle valve controller reduced fuel consumption by up to 34%.
