Abstract

Advancements in technology have reshaped the way teaching and learning take place, with e-learning becoming a key tool for enhancing access to information. Google Classroom has emerged as one of the most widely used platforms for e-learning, but its overall effectiveness and user experience still require closer examination. This study evaluates Google Classroom using the Technique for User Experience Evaluation in E-Learning (TUXEL 2.0), focusing on three areas: general usability, pedagogical usability, and user experience. The research involved 63 Grade X TKJ students from SMK Negeri 7 Malang who had experience using e-learning tools. The findings highlighted 14 issues in the Problem Reporting Table, including challenges with login, interface, assignments, and assessments. Additionally, 19 issues were identified in the General LMS Evaluation, mainly related to documentation, ease of learning, flexibility, and the learning process. Despite these challenges, the user experience was rated positively in areas such as attractiveness (mean 1.39), dependability (1.44), efficiency (2.06), novelty (1.13), and perspicuity (1.09), though the stimulation dimension scored negatively (0.75). While Google Classroom is generally effective as a learning support tool, enhancing engagement, flexibility, and providing better user guides could significantly improve the overall experience for students.
