PENGUASAAN KETERAMPILAN GERAK DASAR SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


Penguasaan keterampilan gerak dasar merupakan pondasi penting bagi anak untuk dapat terlibat dalam banyak macam aktivitas fisik di masa depan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap keterampilan gerak dasar (non-lokomotor dan lokomotor) siswa sekolah dasar. Selain itu penelitian ini juga bertujuan mengungkap penguasaan keterampilan gerak dasar berdasarkan gender. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 98 Tongko, Kabupaten Enrekang. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas rendah yaitu kelas 1 sampai 3 di sekolah teresbut. Penelitian ini melibatkan 61 siswa yang berusia 6-8 tahun sebagai subyek penelitian yang terbagi atas 32 siswa laki-laki dan 29 siswa perempuan yang diambil dengan teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan melalui observasi keterampilan gerak dasar (non-lokomotor dan lokomotor) siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah format penilaian fundamental movement skill. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan gerak dasar seluruh siswa berada pada kategori cukup. Tidak ada perbedaan keterampilan gerak dasar berdasarkan gender. Dukungan berbagai pihak seperti guru, orang tua, dan lingkungan dibutuhkan untuk mendorong siswa memiliki penguasaan keterampilan gerak dasar yang optimal.
