Author Guidelines

1. The articles contained in this journal include writings on research results, conceptual ideas, studies and application of theories, literature review, and book reviews.


2. The manuscript has not been published in other journals and print media, typed with 2 spaces on A4 paper, 12-20 pages long

3. The article is an original work of the author and free from plagiarism (plagiarism). The contents of the article and possible violations of the ethics of writing are entirely the responsibility of the author

4. Articles are written in essay form, with headings of each section, except the introductory section presented without the title of the sub-section. The title of the sub-section is expressed by different fonts, all of the letters are bold , italic and located on the left edge of the page, and not by numbers, as in the following example.

5. The name of the article writer is listed without an academic degree and is placed under the title of the article. If the author consists of four or more persons, listed under the title of the article is the name of the primary author; the names of other authors are listed on the first page of the manuscript. Article results of the research undertaken by the team, all team members should be listed. In the process of editing articles, journal managers only relate to the primary author or author whose name is listed in the first place.

6. Non research article comprising: (a) the title (maximum 10 words) (b) the identity of the author (c) abstract ( abstract ) in Indonesian and English (75-150 words), (d) keywords ( keywords ) in Indonesian and English (3-5 words), (e) introduction (without subheadings) containing background and purpose or scope of writing, (f) main discussion (can be divided into several sub-sections); (g) the closing or conclusion and (h) the referral list (containing only referenced sources). Research articles are presented with the following systematics: (a) title (maximum 10 words) (b) author's name (c) abstract ( abstract) In Indonesian and English (75-150 words) containing objectives, methods, and results of the research, (d) keywords ( keywords ) in Indonesian and English, (e) the introduction (Untitled section) contains a review of the theory (max. 25% of the total number of articles pages), (g) results (maximum 20% of the number of articles pages), (h) discussion (results and the discussion may be incorporated in a sub-title), (i) conclusions and suggestions, and (j) the referral list (containing only referenced sources).

7. The list of references is presented following the following examples, sorted alphabetically, and chronologically.

Hanafi, A. 1989. Participation in rural broadcasts and adoption of innovation. In the Research Forum . 1 (1) p. 33-47.

8. Procedures for presenting reference citations, tables, and drawings follow the provisions of the Scientific Writing Guidelines: Thesis, Thesis, Dissertation, Articles, Papers, Research Reports (State University of Malang, 2012). The text of the article is typed by observing the rules of spelling and punctuation that are contained in the Enhanced Spellings Generalized Indonesian Guidelines (Depdikbud 1987).

9. Anything involving licensing of quotations or the use of computer software for the making of a script or any other subject related to intellectual property done by the author of the article, together with any legal consequences which may arise thereof, shall be the sole responsibility of the author of the article

10. Referral sources are as much as possible libraries of the last 10 years. Preferred referrals are primary sources of research reports (including thesis, thesis, dissertation) or research articles in journals and / or scientific magazines.


11. To facilitate communication with the author, the author must include e-mail address , mobile phone number , and correspond address.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission should not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere, or extended version of previously published papers in conferences and/ or journals
  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word file format (*.doc, *.docx) as the template, that can be found here
  3. The submitted manuscript font is Times New Roman, with size of 11 pts, with 1.5 spacing, on A4 paper size, the manuscript has to be written within 20 pages maximum
  4. The procedure for writing the article have been refer to the Instructions to Authors which can be found at Author Guidelines
  5. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed
