Manuscripts that are suitable for publication in Quantitative Economics Research cover the following relevant domains and topic of interest:

  • Developing economy context focusing that employ rigorous methods analysis
  • Economics theory and econometrics while being open all sub-field of economics
  • Quantitative approarch, theoretical and empirical to economic problems.
  • Innovative and fundamental papers that focus on various facets of Economics of the Emerging Market and Developing Economies

Peer Review Process

Quantitative Economics Research managed by department of development economics, Faculty of Economics Universitas Negeri Malang, Indonesia. The journal uses double blind Peer-reviewing, where both the referee and author remain anonymous throughout the process. Language allowed in this journal is English.

All manuscripts submitted for publication in the journal will be checked for plagiarism by using Turnitin software. Furthermore, it will be evaluated by the Editorial Board to determine whether the aims and scope suitable with this journal or not. Manuscripts which fall outside the aims and scope of the journal or is not follow for requirements of Quantitative Economics Research are rejected or may be wanted some revisions at this initial point.

After initial evaluation, the manuscripts are sent to at least two referees which are determined by editorial board. If necessary, the number of referees can be increased by Editorial Board. The referees are chosen from referee board according to their expertise.

Referees are asked to evaluate the manuscript’s originality, novelty, methodology, contribution to the literature, presentation of results and support for the conclusions, and appropriate referencing of previous relevant studies. Referees might accept the manuscript, reject the manuscript or might require a revision for style and/or content. For publication of articles, two positive reports are required. In case one referee report is negative while the other is positive, the article is forwarded to a third referee for addition evaluation.

When a revision is required by the referee or referees, the author(s) are to consider the criticism and suggestions offered by the referees, and they should be sent back the revised version of manuscript in 30 days. If revised manuscript is not sent in one month, the manuscript is removed from from referee evaluation process. Referees may request more than one revision of a manuscript. Manuscripts which are not accepted for publication are not re-sent to their authors.

After favorable opinions of referees, Editorial Board is made the final evaluation. The articles accepted for publication by Editorial Board are placed in an issue sequence. Quantitative Economics Research aims to complete the all peer review process within 12-25 weeks.

 

Open Access Policy

Quantitative Economics Research adopts an Open Access policy complying with the definition laid out by the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI). Terms and conditions of Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License apply to all published manuscripts. This journal is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.This lisence allow authors to copy and redistrisbute the material in any or medium format. The journal allows the author(s) to hold the copyright without restrictions and will retain publishing rights without restrictions

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
