LITERATURE REVIEW: PENDIDIKAN JASMANI SEBAGAI STRATEGI DALAM OPTIMALISASI TUMBUH KEMBANG SISWA

Abstract


Literature review dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas fisik dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani terhadap optimalisasi tumbuh kembang siswa yang ditinjau dari hormon pertumbuhan, insulin growth factor-1 dan hormon kortisol. Metode dalam penelitian ini mengakses database artikel yang menggunakan prosedur PICO dengan strategi pemilihan dan penyaringan data menggunakan alur PRISMA. Hasil analisis lebih lanjut berdasarkan konsep neurohormonal terdapat 12 artikel yang menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas fisik yang dikemas dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani di sekolah mempengaruhi tumbuh kembang siswa. Diharapkan bagi pemangku kebijakan pendidikan, sebaiknya tidak menomor duakan mata pelajaran pendidikan jasmani atau menganggap sebagai mata pelajaran formalitas saja. Karena perlu adanya penyesuaian kurikulum pendidikan jasmani yang tidak hanya berfungsi menyehatkan jasmani tetapi juga mencetak SDM yang berkualitas unggul dalam aspek tumbuh kembang di masa kini dan yang akan datang.
