Pengaruh Kepimimpinan Kepala Madrasah Tsanawiyah Terhadap Peningkatan Kinerja Guru di Pondok Pesantren

Abstract


Abstract: The leadership of the madrasa principal plays a crucial role in the success of education, particularly at the Fajrul Iman Modern Islamic Boarding School. The principal is responsible not only for administrative tasks but also for motivating and guiding teachers to achieve optimal performance. This study aims to determine the extent of the principal’s leadership influence on teacher performance at the boarding school. The study involved all 30 teachers at Fajrul Iman Modern Islamic Boarding School. Based on the F-test, the calculated F-value was 10.037 with a significance level of 0.03, indicating that the principal's leadership significantly affects teacher performance. The study results showed an influence of 50%, with the remaining 50% being affected by other factors. In conclusion, the principal's leadership has a significant impact on teacher performance. It is recommended that the principal focuses on fair compensation aspects and continues to enhance teachers' motivation and work ethic. Teachers who view their work as a challenge and a form of service tend to perform better, ultimately supporting the overall educational goals at Fajrul Iman Modern Islamic Boarding School.

Abstrak: Kepemimpinan kepala madrasah berperan penting dalam keberhasilan pendidikan, khususnya di Pondok Pesantren Modern Fajrul Iman. Kepala madrasah bertanggung jawab tidak hanya dalam mengelola administrasi, tetapi juga dalam memotivasi dan membimbing para guru untuk mencapai kinerja yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala madrasah terhadap kinerja guru di pondok pesantren ini. Penelitian melibatkan seluruh guru di Pondok Pesantren Modern Fajrul Iman yang berjumlah 30 orang. Berdasarkan uji F, diperoleh nilai F hitung sebesar 10,037 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,03, menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala madrasah berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan pengaruh sebesar 50%, sementara sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Kesimpulannya, kepemimpinan kepala madrasah memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Disarankan agar kepala madrasah memperhatikan aspek kompensasi yang adil serta terus meningkatkan motivasi dan etos kerja para guru. Guru yang menganggap pekerjaan sebagai tantangan dan pengabdian cenderung memiliki kinerja yang lebih baik, yang pada akhirnya akan mendukung tujuan pendidikan secara keseluruhan di Pondok Pesantren Modern Fajrul Iman.
