KARAKTERISTIK SENYAWA FLAVONOID UNTUK ANTIDIABETES SECARA IN SILICO: REVIU

Abstract


Jumlah penderita diabetes yang semakin meningkat menarik perhatian para peneliti untuk menemukan alternatif obat antidiabetes yang lebih aman dan tidak menimbulkan efek samping. Pemanfaatan senyawa metabolit sekunder dari bahan alam seperti flavonoid sebagai antidiabetes memiliki potensi yang besar sebagai alternatif pengobatan karena senyawa yang diperoleh dari bahan alam memiliki efek samping yang lebih rendah dibandingkan obat sintetis. Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik senyawa flavonoid yang berpotensi sebagai antidiabetes dari analisis in silico. Artikel ditulis dengan tahapan penelusuran pustaka dengan menggunakan mesin pencari (search engine) berupa ScienceDirect, Pubmed dan Google Scholar, dengan kata kunci “Flavonoid Antidiabetes In Silico” dalam rentang publikasi 10 tahun diatas 2014 (2014-2024) dan 10 tahun dibawah 2014 (2014-2000). Hasil dari pengolahan data diketahui bahwa karakteristik senyawa flavonoid yang berpotensi sebagai antidiabetes adalah senyawa flavonoid yang memiliki substituen OH yang banyak baik pada cincin A maupun B.
