UPAYA MENINGKATKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATERI CONVERSATION SISWA KELAS XI JURUSAN BAHASA SMA NEGERI 3 PROBOLINGGO MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ROLE PLAYING

Abstract


To obtain high student achievement in speaking English, it is necessary the participation of students in the learning process. Therefore, there is need to be learning that truly engages students in active, creative and fun, one of them a fun learning is conversation.  The purpose of this study to determine the effectiveness of learning with models of conversation / dialogue in solving or helping students in learning speaking. Forms of this research is the Classroom Action Research (PTK) is conducted in two cycles, and each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject of the study 24 students of class XI Language Department first semester of the 2015/2016 academic year. The survey results revealed that from the first cycle, the second cycle in the following study English Speaking experienced a significant increase. Overview completeness of personalized student learning outcomes of the first cycle of 36.4% after the second cycle increased 50.35% from the first cycle to the second cycle. Thus occurred the average increase student participation in the learning of 61.57%. The data shows that the condition of students who are actively involved in the learning process, asking, answering questions, and timely in the working group has met the criteria set out in the material thus Role Playing Learning goes well, so that students result of study was also successful.
