PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MEMAHAMI TEKS NARATIF DENGAN PEMBELAJARAN DOUBLE IN–SHARE (INTENSIVE READING, INDEPENDENT READING, AND SHARING IDEAS)
Abstract
This research is aimed to improve learning process to comprehend narrative text through Double IN-Share in the 9th graders of Public Junior High School 5 Probolinggo in the year academic of 2018/2019 and it can improve learning achievement in comprehending narrative text through Double IN-Share in the 9th graders of Public Junior High School 5 Probolinggo. This research is a classroom action research using Double IN-Share method (Intensive Reading, Independent Reading, and Sharing Ideas) covers 30 students as research subjects. This research has done in two cycles. The result of this reseach is there is a significant improvement to the students’ activities for KD 3.7 Membandingkan fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan beberapa teks naratif lisan dan tulis dengan memberi dan meminta informasi terkait fairy tales, pendek dan sederhana, sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya. It is shown that there is an improvement of the learning achievement from cycle 1(63%) to cycle 2 (90%). Based on this fact, it can be concluded that the treatment in cycle 2 is able to improve the comprehending of narrative text.
