Author Guidelines

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR AUTHOR

  1. In the review process, Jurnal Kajian Matematika dan Aplikasinya imposes One Round Blind Peer Review. It means, the submitted manuscript will be reviewed by the reviewer and we will reject an unapproved first revised manuscript.
  2. Jurnal Kajian Matematika dan Aplikasinya is strongly avoid plagiarism.
  3. Every accepted manuscript will be published in the open-access journal system of Universitas Negeri Malang.
  4. The author whose manuscript is published, won't get a fee from the publisher.
  5. The unaccepted manuscript is able to submit to another relevant journal.

ONLINE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Authors need to register first as a writer and/or reviewers via the address http://journal2.um.ac.id/index.php/jkma/user/register

The Authors should complete the form as detailed as possible with the star marked fields must be filled. After that, click the Register button to register. Then the author will be brought to the Online Submission interface and click the "New Submission" button. For starting a New Manuscript Submission, follow the steps below:

  1. Step 1. Starting the Submission: Choose the appropriate journal section, in this case, choose the article.
  2. Step 2. Uploading the Submission: To upload a manuscript to this journal, click Browse and choose the manuscript file to be sent, then click the Upload button. To continue the process click Save and continue button.
  3. Step 3. Entering the Submission's Metadata: In this step, enter the metadata writers in detail. Including the manuscript title and abstract.
  4. Step 4. Uploading Supplementary Files: Additional files should be uploaded as well. Click the Browse button, select the file, and click the Upload button. Click Save and continue to go to the next step.
  5. Step 5. Confirming the Submission: The author should check the manuscript that has been uploaded. To send this manuscript to JKMA, click the Finish Submission.

After submitting the manuscript, the author will receive a receipt via email.

ARTICLE FORMAT

The general rules about the article format:

  1. The font is Times New Roman and the font size is specified in detail as in the template.
  2. The Abstract must be written in English.
  3. The manuscript is written in single spacing.
  4. The paper size is A4 where the top, bottom, left, and right margin are 2 cm.
  5. The paragraph type is Justify and a one-column format.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submitted article is on the field of mathematics or its application.

  2. The submitted article never publish in any journal or any media and it is not under publication's processes in any journal or any media.

  3. The submitted article is in Microsoft Word's format (doc or docx) and it uses the template of JKMA.

  4. The author has a strong willingness to revised the article based on the suggestion of the reviewers and the author has to submit their revised article under the determined time.

Authors who publish their article into Jurnal Kajian Matematika dan Aplikasinya (JKMA) agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
  2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal.
  3. Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

Authors are NOT required to pay an Article Submission Fee.

Article Publication: 0.00 (IDR)
If this paper is accepted for publication, you will NOT be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee.
