Pengembangan LMS Interaktif Berbasis Web untuk Mata Pelajaran Produktif di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan: Implementasi terbatas pada Utilitas Gedung & Dasar DKV
Abstract

Abctract: Technological developments have influenced changes in the field of education. The rapid advancement of technology has led to the emergence of tools and applications that are very easy to learn and use as learning media. One such tool is the WordPress-based Learning Management System (LMS), which has proven effective in addressing various challenges in productive learning at Vocational High Schools (SMK). One of the main advantages of LMS is its ability to provide more flexible access to learning materials. LMS also enhances interactivity and student engagement in the learning process. Unlike conventional methods that tend to be one-way, LMS allows students to learn through various interactive features such as instructional videos, simulations, discussion forums, and project-based assignments. These features help students better understand the material and increase their learning motivation, especially in technically complex areas. The use of LMS in productive SMK subjects is expected to make learning more modern, effective, and aligned with technological developments and current industry demands.
This study aims to develop a learning medium in the form of an interactive WordPress-based Learning Management System (LMS) to support learning in productive subjects at Vocational High Schools (SMK), specifically in the subjects of Building Utilities and Basic Visual Communication Design (DKV). The method used is research and development (R&D), adapted from the Borg & Gall model and the ADDIE approach (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). The development process includes needs analysis, product design, feature development, expert validation, limited implementation, and effectiveness evaluation. Validation results from content experts showed a feasibility score of 100%, while media experts rated it at 98%, both categorized as highly feasible. The small group trial resulted in a feasibility percentage of 94.42%, and the large group trial yielded 85.22%, both considered highly feasible. The developed LMS provides various interactive features such as multimedia modules, automated quizzes, discussion forums, and an online assessment system that supports both independent and collaborative learning. The platform is also designed to be responsive across various devices, allowing students flexible access to learning materials.
