KONSELING KARIER LIFE DESIGN: ANALISIS KONTEN JURNAL THE CAREER DEVELOPMENT QUARTERLY TAHUN 2016

Abstract


Analisis konten ini merupakan analisis artikel penelitian konseling karier life design yang diterbitkan oleh Jurnal The Career Development Quarterly (CDQ) volume 65 nomor 1 tahun 2016. Jurnal CDQ merupakan jurnal resmi yang diterbitkan oleh National Career Development Association (NCDA). Tujuan CDQ adalah mendorong perkembangan karier melalui desain dan penggunaan intervensi karier. Pemilihan artikel pada publikasi jurnal CDQ adalah karena jurnal tersebut merupakan publikasi special issue mengenai konseling karier life design. Analisis konten mengenai konseling karier life design diperlukan mengingat belum ada penelitian di Indonesia yang mengkaji perspektif konseling karier life design. Hal sebaliknya terjadi dalam skala internasional yang mengklaim konseling karier life design sebagai perspektif karier paling populer pada abad ke-21, meninggalkan tren sebelumnya yaitu trait-and-factor atau person-environment fit. Tujuan dari analisis konten adalah mengetahui masalah karier yang diangkat dalam penelitian bertema konseling karier life design. Hasil analisis konten menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar masalah karier yang diangkat dalam konseling karier life design adalah pemilihan karier dalam kehidupan individu. Selain itu, berbagai penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konseling karier life design sesuai diterapkan di berbagai negara, seperti Portugal, Italia, Amerika Serikat, dan Afrika Selatan. Rekomendasi analisis konten adalah mengembangkan penelitian konseling karier life design di Indonesia, khususnya di sekolah.
