Hubungan Self-Awareness dan Technological Innovation Capability terhadap Career Adaptability Siswa SMK Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Otomasi Industri di SMKN 1 Kota Kediri
Abstract
Era Revolusi Industri 4.0 telah membawa perubahan besar dalam dunia tenaga kerja, mempengaruhi karakter pekerjaan dan pasar tenaga kerja. Meskipun pemerintah telah berupaya meningkatkan kompetensi lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) melalui program "SMK BISA!", angka pengangguran di tingkat SMK tetap tinggi, menunjukkan tantangan dalam menghasilkan lulusan SMK yang dapat beradaptasi dengan baik di dunia kerja yang berubah. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi hubungan antara kesadaran diri (self-awareness) dan kemampuan inovasi teknologi (technological innovation capability) terhadap kemampuan adaptasi karier (career adaptability) pada siswa SMK jurusan Teknik Otomasi Industri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kesadaran diri dan kemampuan inovasi teknologi dengan kemampuan adaptasi karier. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa memahami diri sendiri dan memiliki kemampuan inovasi teknologi dapat membantu siswa SMK dalam beradaptasi dengan perubahan dalam dunia kerja yang terus berkembang. Dalam kombinasi, self-awareness dan technological innovation capability dapat meningkatkan kemampuan adaptasi karier siswa kejuruan. Penelitian ini memberikan panduan untuk meningkatkan pendidikan SMK yang lebih relevan dengan tuntutan dunia kerja saat ini.
