Focus and Scope

Jurnal Sains Psikologi aims to facilitate the process of interaction, discussion, and further discussion of the development of psychology in Indonesian society. Jurnal Sains Psikologi includes topics related to the theme of clinical psychology, industry and organization, education, development, and social. we are welcoming any works regarding the problems found in society studied based on Psychology or any form of psychoeducation in various fields of psychology. We encourage author(s) to submit the manuscripts with various study quantitatives methods such as meta-analysis, experimental study, and non-experimental study (correlational, comparison, path analysis, etc).

Peer Review Process

Every submitted manuscript will be reviewed by at least two peer-reviewers using double-blind review method, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Publication Ethics

Journal Code of Ethics

  1. Determine the name of the journal, scientific scope, periodic (periodic), and accreditation.
  2. Determine the membership of the Editorial Board.
  3. Defines relationships between Publishers, Editors, Reviewers, and other parties in a contract.
  4. Respect confidentiality Researchers, authors, editors, and reviewers who have contributed.
  5. Implement norms and regulations regarding intellectual property rights, especially copyright.
  6. Conduct journal policy studies and submit them to Authors, Board Editors, Reviewers and Readers.
  7. Make a code of conduct guideline for editors and reviewers.
  8. Publish journals regularly.
  9. Providing guarantees for the availability of funding sources for the publication of sustainable journals.
  10. Building a network of cooperation and marketing.
  11. Prepare permits and other legal aspects.

Editor's Code of Ethics

  1. Improve the quality of publications on an ongoing basis.
  2. Implement a process to guarantee the quality of published papers.
  3. Prioritizing freedom of expression.
  4. Maintaining the integrity of the Authors' academic track record.
  5. Submit corrections, clarifications, withdrawals, and apologies if needed.
  6. Having responsibility for the style and format of the writing, while the contents and all statements in the paper are the responsibility of the Author.
  7. Request and accept opinions from writers, readers, reviewers, and members of the Editor's Board to improve the quality of publications.
  8. Reviewing the effects of policy issues on the attitude of the Writer and Reviewer and improving them to increase responsibility and minimize errors.
  9. Have an open mind about new opinions or other people's views that may differ from personal opinions.
  10. Do not maintain their own opinions, Authors or third parties that can lead to non-objective decisions.
  11. Encourage the author to be able to make repairs to the paper until it is worth publishing.

Reviewer Code of Ethics

  1. Receive the task from the Editor to review the paper and submit the results to the Editor, as a consideration of the feasibility of publishing the paper.
  2. Avoid or not do a study of a paper that involves him.
  3. Maintain the privacy of the author by not disseminating the results of corrections, suggestions, and recommendations.
  4. Encourage writers to make repairs to papers by providing corrections, suggestions, and recommendations.
  5. Prioritizing the principles of truth, renewal, and originality for scientific development, applied, and innovation.
  6. Refuse to do a review if the paper is not from the field of expertise. It should provide recommendations to other reviewers who are more skilled in the field of writing.
  7. Revisiting written works that have been corrected according to predetermined standards.
  8. The reviewed paper may not be used for personal gain. In addition, the use of the contents of the paper must obtain permission from the author.
  9. Examine the paper in a timely manner according to the guiding style of the publication based on scientific rules (data collection methods, author's legality, conclusions, etc.).

Author Code of Ethics

  1. The author is required to have an account in the journal before submitting the article.
  2. Have responsibility and contribution in planning, drafting, data collection, data analysis, data interpretation, revision, and integrity of writing.
  3. Discussing from the beginning about the inclusion of the author's name if there is more than one author's name to avoid disputes.
  4. Declare written resources and funds,
  5. The use of material from other publications that are copyrighted, must obtain permission from the relevant party.
  6. Explain the limitations of the study.
  7. Notify the editor or publisher immediately if there are errors in the paper.
  8. Respond to comments made by reviewers in a professional and timely manner.
  9. Inform the Editor if he will retract the paper.
  10. Respecting publishers by not publishing papers in forms and through other media before publication.
  11. Make a statement that the paper submitted for publication is authentic, has never been published anywhere in any language, and is not in the process of being submitted to another Publisher.
