Analisis Penguasaan Konsep dan Kesulitan Belajar Materi Alat-Alat Optik pada Siswa Kelas XI MAN Tuban

Abstract


Penguasaan konsep erat kaitannya dengan penyelesaian masalah. Permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa dengan penguasaan konsep yang akan memicu kesulitan belajar. Penelitian menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif dengan subyek penelitian sebanyak lima kelas yang terdiri dari 184 siswa. Penelitian menunjukkan penguasaan konsep fisika siswa kelas XI MAN Tuban masih rendah. Kesulitan belajar yang diidentifikasi meliputi kesulitan siswa dalam melakukan percobaan alat-alat optik, kesulitan dalam mempelajari alat-alat optik di kelas maupun di luar kelas, kesulitan dalam memahami penerapan materi alat-alat optik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, kesulitan siswa dalam membuat diagram jalannya sinar pada pemantulan dan pembiasan cahaya, dan kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal secara matematis.
