Persepsi Calon Guru Tentang Fungsi Eksekutif Disabilitas Disleksia di Universitas Negeri Surabaya dan Universitas Negeri Malang

Abstract


: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi calon guru terhadap fungsi eksekutif pada disabilitas disleksia. Fungsi eksekutif merupakan kemampuan kognitif yang mencakup pengendalian diri, perencanaan, fleksibilitas kognitif, serta memori kerja yang berperan penting dalam keberhasilan akademik dan sosial-emosional. Individu dengan disleksia sering mengalami hambatan pada area ini sehingga berdampak pada kemampuan belajar dan pengelolaan emosi. Rendahnya pemahaman calon guru mengenai fungsi eksekutif disleksia dapat memengaruhi efektivitas strategi pembelajaran yang diterapkan di kelas inklusif.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed method dengan menggabungkan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif dikumpulkan melalui angket tertutup menggunakan skala Likert yang disebarkan kepada 100 mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Luar Biasa di Universitas Negeri Surabaya dan Universitas Negeri Malang. Data kualitatif diperoleh melalui wawancara semi-struktur terhadap 10 mahasiswa terpilih. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara statistik deskriptif untuk hasil kuantitatif dan analisis tematik untuk data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar calon guru memiliki pemahaman yang masih terbatas mengenai konsep fungsi eksekutif dan keterkaitannya dengan disleksia. Mereka cenderung memaknai fungsi eksekutif hanya sebagai kemampuan berpikir umum tanpa memahami aspek pengendalian diri, memori kerja, dan fleksibilitas kognitif. Namun, terdapat sebagian responden yang menunjukkan kesadaran akan pentingnya fungsi eksekutif dalam membantu siswa disleksia mengatur perilaku dan strategi belajar. Penelitian ini menegaskan perlunya penguatan materi tentang fungsi eksekutif dan disleksia dalam kurikulum calon guru serta pelatihan yang berfokus pada strategi pembelajaran berbasis fungsi eksekutif untuk mendukung pendidikan inklusif.
