Germago Learning Media to Practice Mastery in German Vocabulary Independently for Students of German Language Education Study Program at State University of Malang

Abstract


The purpose is to describe the activities of students of the German Language Education Study Program at the State University of Malang indenpendently in using Germago learning media to practice mastery of articles in German vocabulary. Additionally, to describe the responses of students to the use of the Germago learning media. The data sources of this research are 16 students from second semester offering A class of 2023 German Language Education Study Program in Deutsch II subject. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with research instrumen is observation sheets and questionnaire sheets. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the research went well as expected. In this research, students used the Germago feature namely Article lernen and Plural lernen to practice mastery of Singular articles and Plural forms of vocabulary. Then the Test feature is to determine student learning outcomes using Germago. The Kleidung theme material with 10 vocabularies can be understood by students because it has been studied before. Student offering A class of 2023 said that Germago was interesting to use because the images, colors, writing and instructions are clear. The use of Germago learning media can help in mastering articles in German vocabulary because its features namely Articles lernen and Plural lernen can be operated well and are suitable for practicing Singular articles and Plural forms of German vocabulary.
