Peer Review Process

Jurnal Inovasi dan Teknologi Pembelajaran maintains the standards of peer review while increasing the efficiency of the process. All research articles published in Jurnal Inovasi dan Teknologi Pembelajaran undergo full peer review, key characteristics of which are listed below:
  1. The submitted manuscript is first reviewed by an editor, whether it is suitable for our focus and scope or has a major methodological flaw.
  2. Every submitted paper will be reviewed by at least two independent peer-reviewers.
  3. Reviewers are aware of the identity of the authors, however, authors are unaware of the identity of reviewers (blind review method).
  4. Reviewing process will consider novelty, objectivity, method, scientific impact, conclusion, and references.
  5. The suggested decision will be evaluated in an editorial board meeting.
  6. Reviewers' comments are then sent to the corresponding author for necessary actions and responses, hopefully in 2 weeks.
  7. After the author sends the revised results based on the suggestions from the reviewers, the editor will check the results. If the results of the revision are still not in accordance with the suggestions and expectations of the editor as well as the provisions of Jurnal Inovasi dan Teknologi Pembelajaran, then the authors will be asked to revise again until all corrections meet the standards and criteria of acceptable manuscripts and published by Jurnal Inovasi dan Teknologi Pembelajaran
  8. After the manuscript is declared to meet the recommended revision standards, the manuscript will be checked for similarity and if it is still above 20%, the authors will be asked to paraphrase the manuscript.
  9. After the manuscript is free from suspicion of similarity, the editor will send a notification of acceptance of the manuscript including the proofreading stage before the manuscript is published.
