Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

1.  Journal of Disruptive Learning Innovation (JODLI) publishes articles (research-based and conceptual articles) in the area of innovation of teaching and learning in all disciplines.

2.  The article must not be submitted for publication elsewhere or an extended version of previously published papers in conferences or journals.

3.  The author is allowed to withdraw his/her submission only before the review process.

4.  The article must be written in English (both British and American English are acceptable, but they should be consistent).

5.  The manuscript must be submitted online via the journal website on http://journal2.um.ac.id/index.php/jodli/about/submissions#onlineSubmissions. If you encountered any difficulties, don't be hesitate to contact us through the following email: jodli@um.ac.id or habiddin_wuni@um.ac.id.

6.  The manuscript should be formatted in one column using 12 pt Times New Roman, 1.5 space in the A4 paper (size 191 x 254 mm), and justify alignment in Microsoft Word at least 2007 version.

7.  The title should be accurate, unambiguous and in the form of specific words or a and not a sentence, and do not contain infrequently-used abbreviations. The title must be written in title case and should be in bold 16 pt font size, single space, centred-alignment, and maximum 20 words.

8.  The author's name should be in 12 pt font size, centred-alignment, and without any academic degrees. The affiliation of all authors should be provided underneath in 12pt font size and centred-alignment and indicated in order number for each different affiliation. Authors with the same affiliations must be tagged with the same number.

9.  The corresponding author should be indicated using the Asterix sign (only if more than one author).

10. All manuscripts must include an abstract that should not exceed 250 words.

11. The manuscript is to be arranged as follows:

  • Introduction
  • Method

  • Results and Discussion

  • Conclusion

  • Acknowledgement (Optional)

  • References

12. Tables and Figures should be numbered separately and sequentially. Each Table and Figure should be given an informative title. Tables and Figures should be presented in the text. Tables should be arranged in the following format:

  • Tables should be submitted as data - .doc, .rtf, Excel or PowerPoint file- Tables submitted as image data are not accepted, for they cannot be edited for publication.

13. The length of the submitted paper is no more than 15 pages, excluding the references and appendices. Editors will evaluate if a paper needs more than 15 pages.

14. References are written in IEEE style. For complete guide can be accessed at (https://bit.ly/ref-ieeestyleguide). Use a tool such as EndNote, Mendeley, or Zotero for reference management and formatting, and choose IEEE style. All references should be to the most pertinent, up-to-date.

15. All manuscripts submitted will not be in charge (free of charge). All publication process funding will be disbursed by JODLI (Journal of Disruptive Learning Innovation).

 

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission should not been published, submitted for publication elsewhere, or extended version of previously published papers in conferences and/ or journals
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
