Since its establishment in September 2014, the Jurnal Inovasi dan Tekologi Pembelajaran (E-ISSN 2654-7953), abbreviated as JINOTEP, has functioned as a media publication for research on innovation and learning technology, which is of common interest to scholars and students in various fields. It is committed to encouraging diversity in area coverage, chronological ranges, and methodological approaches. In the April 2019-July 2022 edition, JINOTEP used the name written on ISSN PDII LIPI with the full name JINOTEP (Jurnal Inovasi dan Teknologi Pembelajaran): Kajian dan Riset dalam Teknologi Pembelajaran. Whereas in the November 2022 edition, it changed to Jurnal Inovasi dan Teknologi Pembelajaran (JINOTEP): Kajian dan Riset dalam Teknologi Pembelajaran adjusted to the naming on ISSN 2.0 on the portal ISSN including in BRIN ISDB. Then, in March 2023, JINOTEP only wrote down the main title without abbreviations and subtitles, so the name became Jurnal Inovasi dan Teknologi Pembelajaran.
