Abstract

Abstract: The increasingly massive use of technology coupled with the presence of the COVID-19 pandemic has influenced the implementation of online learning. This study aims to examine the format of microlearning media used in universities. The method used is observation and literature study. The results of this study indicate that universities have the potential to develop microlearning teaching materials in various formats such as (1) podcasts, (2) PowerPoint slides, (3) infographics, (4) motion graphics, (5) explainer videos, and (6) interactive video conferencing and gamification, as a form of innovation in the learning process. These efforts were made to overcome the boredom of learning that occurred due to the pandemic by utilizing increasingly developing information and communication technology.
